Let me just apologize for my disappearence.
And now here is an update of what’s happening in my life in the past 2 months.
Just came back from Tokyo and HK last Sun. It was a lovely 1.5 week’s trip and I’m not married yet 😉
Spent a lot of time shopping as this is not my first time in both cities. But it is the first time for my bf to be in Japan so there was a lot of adaptation in the first two days for him. The fact that most of the signages were in Japanese doesn’t help. And my broken Japanese didn’t come back until day 3, so the first two days were hectic. Otherwise, Japan was great and people were very friendly and polite. Tokyo and Hakone are complete opposite and we got to enjoy the best of both worlds in Japan.
HK was HOT and HUMID. But nothing beats the convenience and the cheap prices of everything.
Spent 3 short days with my two good friends and my mom. It was sad that the stay was short and I didn’t get to meet with a lot of my friends whom I miss dearly. But I’ll definitely return soon for another visit.
Back in NY, things are well – bunnies are doing ok if not fatter than ever. Will try to post something on my rabbit blog.
Moved to a new office location and got a couple of new co-workers.
Work is never exciting but the news of the year is that one of the bitchy clients just left. And things have been slightly better yet challenges continues.
Still not sure if I want to stay in this company but we did get to the second round of a major pitch – on which success I am hinging my career. If we lose, I’ll move on to look for a new job. Although if that happens I will surely miss my great co-workers, I am looking forward to that inevitable situation.
In terms of my relationship, given that I have succeeded a consecutive 12 days on the road with my bf, I guess we have moved to a more secured ground. Of course we are not planning on doing anything drastic but it’s going steadily well. Nothing will happen in the next 18 months. But I am contemplating about moving end of the year…not sure where things will go then.
My little recent achievement is making my new sewing machine work! Gosh am I pathetic or what~?!
